The mountain

Depart from the town of Campan, latitude 42.9263300 (N 42° 55’ 35”), longitude 0.2046200 (E 0° 12’ 17”)

• From Artigues (a few meters after the old inn), follow the GR10c path or mule path to the Tramezaygues huts.
• Continue until the water intake, on a large plateau at the foot of pic du Midi. Leave it on the left and follow the bottom of the valley to the hut of Arizes. From this point, the path becomes steeper, it leads us directly to the lake.
• From Lake Arizes, rise north on the grassy slopes towards the pass, clearly visible. From there, climb right on the ridge to the top of the Mountain.
• The return is by the same route.
