Access

Several possible starting points:

1) The "trembling stone", located at the exit from Guer on the D776, heading towards Monteneuf.

2) Standing stones, megalithic site in Monteneuf (on the D776).

3) Bikers’ House (Maison des Motards) in the village of Porcaro.

Itinerary

1) Depart from the trembling stone, a stone block weighing 25 tonnes.

2) The Maheux rock, a shale-covered path, then further to the right, the Chomet de Coueplan (small alignment nestled in the undergrowth, private).

3) The five paths: walkers’ crossroads (carrefour des promeneurs): highest point in all of Pays de Guer (158 m) where several hiking paths through the Monteneuf moors and Oyon Valley meet.

4) Site of the Monteneuf standing stones (possible starting point): over 400 blocks of purple shale erected in the Neolithic and destroyed circa 1000, by order of the religious authorities.

5) The tombeau des rochettes, a burial mound from the Bronze age, then to the right, take a detour via the Tête de Gore, a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the River Oyon.

6) Back on the path, go to La Priaudais pond.

7) Bikers’ house in the village of Porcaro (possible starting point).

8) Via the greenway, go to St. Stephen’s Priory, the oldest chapel in Morbihan and a listed historic monument.

9) The village of La Ville-Boscher, a seasonal floral village, and its bread oven.

10) Go to Vauniel manor.
