Depart from outside the town hall, at the car park of the landscaped park. Before starting the itinerary, pass behind the tennis courts and admire the view over the valley.

Itinerary

Continue straight ahead and pass the church, then turn right on to Rue Jean-Baptiste Béhéré. In the distance, you will be able to admire a magnificent dovecote which is part of the farm buildings, private property. Start the descent to Rue du Cimetière.

At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and after about 50 metres, take a small path that runs along the forest, the sides of which are covered with pretty wild hyacinths. Then, turn right onto a path surrounded by fields which leads you back into the forest.

You will arrive at the edge of the woods and find a panoramic viewpoint over the valley. Leave the path and make your way towards a cattle gate about 20 metres away. Return from where you came and continue your route deeper into the forest. You will pass a house on your left where the roots of the trees are covered in flowers. There is a steep climb. Panoramic viewpoint over Monts de Sigy. Continue down to the hamlet of Launay. You will see a tree with long roots immersed in the drinking trough. When you arrive on the D9, turn right towards La Hallotière. Pass a gite, which blends perfectly into the rural landscapes of the surrounding fields and Mont Sauveur.

At the crossroads between the D57 and the D9, take Chemin des Forges, which runs alongside the road to the village of La Hallotière. The path is very steep for inexperienced walkers but, on the left, it offers a view over the landscapes of Nolléval. Join the road and continue towards the town centre and finish the walk with a visit to the park where you will find trees from the five continents, a collection of holly trees, an ornamental pond and a picnic area.
