This hike allows you to discover the villages of Saunières and Pontoux. The village of Saunières is spread in ribbon along the Doubs. You can enjoy its charming 18th century church. You will then cross an area subject to the floods of the Doubs. This led to the development of a particular flora such as the officinal gratiole, the British inule or the fragile gaudine. The large grassy areas are home to brooms, ash curlews, a posh ring. You will enjoy the calm of the banks of the Doubs and the landscape. Pontoux is home to a 17th century tower and a 15th century church. Both villages have a launch for boats on the Doubs.
