The Wood of Lavas - La Taillée

• Dating from 1960, they share during the flood period 1/3 of the water towards the canal of the Five Abbots and 2/3 towards the chasm of the Ile d'Elle (direction of Sèvre Niortaise)

• Lavois Wood

• It is the last floodable wood in winter of the canton. Lower than the communal, it was laid out in "terré": a wood made up of ditch and conches (small canals), and planted ash trees carved in tadpoles.
