Owned by the General Council of Aisne, Axo'Plage leisure centre covers 40 hectares in the commune of Monampteuil, between Laon and Soissons, on the banks of an artificial lake.
Open from April to late September, this leisure and nature park boasts a 300 metre-long fine sand beach, a vast grassy esplanade, and 10 hectares of protected humid prairies. Bathing (supervised in July and August), pedalos, fitness trail, educational trail, bowls, beach volleyball, tennis and mini-golf, as well as picnic areas and children's games, are among the attractions that will delight fans of outdoor activities.
