Dominating both the roofs of the village and the Durance valley, the Château de Tallard, built in the 14th and 16th centuries, features a mixture of medieval and Renaissance architecture.

As well as a beautiful view of the surroundings, the château boasts a seigniorial dwelling flanked by towers and with mullioned windows, a guardroom and the Flamboyant Gothic Saint-Jean chapel.

In summer, the château organises events and festivities like the medieval days (Journées Médiévales) and a historical sound and light show.

Château de Tallard

Dominating both the roofs of the village and the valley of the Durance, the castle of Tallard, 14th and 16th centuries, presents an architecture mixing the medieval and Renaissance styles. In addition to the beautiful view of the surrounding landscapes, the site visit allows you to discover the seigniorial dwelling, flanked by towers and decorated with mullioned windows, the guardhouse, as well as the Saint-Jean chapel of flamboyant gothic style. In summer, the castle offers entertainment and festivities such as Medieval Festivals; guided tours are possible on certain dates, by reservation at the Tourist Office in Tallard at +33 4 92 54 04 29
