The Paul Belmondo Museum was established in 2008 in the prestigious Château Buchillot, a listed Historic Monument (Monuments Historiques) since 1951, located within the Rothschild estate in Boulogne-Billancourt. It houses some 263 sculptures and moulds for sculptures, 452 medallions and 966 drawings by this renowned artist, who was father to the famous actor Jean-Paul Belmondo and one of the last great French classical sculptors of the 20th century.

During your visit, you will see a reconstruction of his studio, which keeps the spirit of the sculptor alive with his furniture, sketches and tools. Inspired by the curiosity cabinets of the 18th century, the museum is surrounded by a romantic garden where his works are displayed. The museum offers visitors a majestic and intimate world, allowing them to get as close as possible to the artist's working environment.

A tactile gallery, set up with the support of the Aéroports de Paris Foundation, enables sight-impaired people to discover the works of art through touch.
