Located at Albi, in the Tarn department, the Gô castle is a private property listed as a Historic Monument. Built in the 16th century in the loop of the Gô, it then takes place in a hamlet belonging to the bishop of Albi.
Cannot be visited today, this impressive brick house is notably known for having seen the birth of Jean-François Galaup de La Pérouse, who spent his childhood there. The heirs of the family are still the owners of the building.
Since October 2019, the Château du Gô has changed owners. Currently in restoration, it should be able to make you live new adventures; Indeed, a bed and breakfast opening is normally scheduled for the summer of 2021.
