The Château de Moulinvieux is located in the commune of Asnières-sur-Vègre, in the department of Sarthe, 10 km north-east of Sablé-sur-Sarthe.
Located in a meander of the Sarthe, crossed by the course of the Vègre which the castle dominates, the domain of feudal origin was redesigned in the 17th century.
From this period dates the central part of the main building. The vast and noble building was then enlarged by a building in return of square.
Classic in style, built on three levels and fitted with Mansart-style roofs, the château is surprisingly large (its main facade has no less than 16 large windows).
The interior decoration is neat (joinery, frescoes, sculpted decorations). A chapel completes the set.

Listed in the Inventory, also including a dovecote (dovecote), the castle is decorated on its south facade a sundial (called Bollée) and on the north side, it opens onto a terrace with a view of the countryside.
Various gardens and spaces bordered by centuries-old lime trees complete the ensemble.
The property is private but the exteriors are occasionally open to the public in summer.
