Built in the second half of the 16th century, the manor of Verdigné in Avesnes-en-Saosnois now benefits from a registration as a Historic Monument. This former farmhouse being restored in the Renaissance style thus reveals a main building flanked by pavilions at each of the corners. They benefit from openings intended for the exit of guns or other pieces of artillery.
Now equipped with an imperial dome on its West pavilion, the Verdigné mansion is accessible to indoor guided tours and should subsequently host private events.
