The village of Bouzais is located southwest of Saint-Amand-Montrond on the road Culan. It is crossed by the Loubière, a tributary of the Cher.

Its inhabitants are called the Bozaciens and Bozaciennes.

The town covers 3.4 square kilometers and has 324 inhabitants in the population census in 2012.

The town is labeled 2 Flowers "Floral towns and villages."

Things to see and do

In its center, the Saint-Roch church, built in the eleventh century and enlarged in the fifteenth, is surmounted by a wooden belfry containing one bell dated 1521 and bearing an invocation to St. Barbara. Bouzais has traces of the late Neolithic period by the presence of several mounds of which close to 951 county.

Located on the road to Saint Jacques de Compostela, the village has a shelter to pilgrims
