Cany-Barville is part of the valley of the Durdent. It consists of a large shopping street.
A very well-known market is held every Monday morning on Place Robert Gabel, between the buildings that once served halls wheat and barracks for a regiment of cavalry during the Revolution.
Cany-Barville is bisected by the Durdent river 23 km long, which has encouraged the installation of many mills along its course.
