Listed building, the Saint-Saturnin church is located in the center of old Champigny-sur-Marne. Restored in the 80s, it is the oldest building in the city. Built between the late twelfth and early thirteenth century, it has a beautiful Gothic. Inside, one can admire a polychrome wood carved panel depicting Christ before Pontius Pilate, the back of the pew.
Also classified as an historic monument, Castle Coeuilly is the property of Bochart family. The current building, which hosted the Prussian Kommandatur during the 1870 war, was built in the early seventeenth century.
Fort Champigny was listed in the inventory of Historical Monuments in 1979. Built just after the war of 1870, it covers an area of four hectares. It now local associations and will visit during Heritage Days.
Natural Heritage Champigny-sur-Marne is very rich. The Tremblay park, created in 1976 covers 73 hectares and features many sports facilities and games.
