Longest village in France, Courtisols stretches 7 km on both banks of the river Vesle.

The town is situated on the RD 3, 12 km from Chalons-en-Champagne (administrative capital of Champagne-Ardenne), 30 km from Sainte-Menehould (gastronomic capital of pig's trotter) and 75 km from Verdun (capital World Peace).

Rich grain farming village, its history dates back to the Gauls, but it is testified in a text only 847. Traditions have been repeatedly reported, forging legends often wrong.

The Church of St. Martin, mentioned for the first time in the ninth century, with a nave framed the first half of the twelfth, sixteenth recovery is a historic monument.
