Just 60 kilometers north-east of Paris, Crépy-en-Valois draws its features, in the Oise, in the heart of the country of Valois. Surrounded by countryside as far as the eye can see, the village blossoms between old stones and nature. This village whose first traces date back to the 10th century was the home of the Dukes of Valois. Though prosperous for several centuries thanks to its position between Flanders and Champagne, the commune will decline until the French Revolution, the kings of France leaving it for another.
