Grivesnes Grivenum or just for some of "thrush", a bird or other of "stoneware" stone found in the basement of this region.
Located on a plateau 113 meters above sea level, this village looks all around. Since time immemorial have always chosen the former high points for reassurance and feel to master critical situations.
In April 1918 the village was the scene of a fierce battle, up to melee with the bayonet. This resistance allowed the French and British troops cut the road from Amiens to German troops.
