Charming small town of Morbihan, Brittany, Loyat takes place about fifty kilometers from the tourist town of Vannes. It is also located near Ploermel, Helléan and Trehorenteuc.
Elder territory Loyat appears in the records from the middle of the eleventh century with a donation of Viscount Porhoët to the abbey of Redon. Built in town at the end of the eighteenth century, it was later shown in the Second World War, becoming one of the objectives Landing in Normandy on 6 June 1944
Calmer, the Breton town today attracts visitors with its rich architectural and historical heritage, as well as its proximity to some of the most beautiful sites in the region.
