Loyat

Ranked Historic Monument, Castle Loyat was built in the eighteenth century on the ruins of an ancient fortress. Partially restored in the late 2000s, it opened its doors, and its park. This is a charming French garden inspired by the work of Le Nôtre, which has a side terraces succession hillside, pond or stream of games near a reflecting pool.

Walking through the town, you can also admire the mansion Lezonnet or the beautiful fountain Saint-Colomban.

Loyat also has a rich religious heritage including the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul of the eighteenth century, St. Columba chapel from 1714, the Saint-Clair-Saint-Mathurin-et-Sainte-Anne nineteenth or Calvary in the center of the communal cemetery and is the subject of a classification as historical building.

A fest noz is organized in July.
