Archaeological Site of the seventh century BC to the third century AD, the oppidum of Jean-Jean boxes takes place Mouriès, in the Bouches-du-Rhone. It covers fourteen hectares in a protected Natura 2000 area of the Regional Natural Park of the Alpilles.
Listed historic monument, it is accessible via a marked trail to go to all ages. Dating back to the era proto, it reveals the fortifications dating back several different times and an incredible view of the Alpilles, the Crau or the Camargue. Several hiking trails are in the area to enjoy the surrounding nature and the architectural remains dating back thousands of years.
