Located about fifty kilometers from Châteauroux, in the heart of Berry, the village of Néret is located on the edge of the Cher department, in the Boischaut Sud natural region.
Property of the knight Hues de Merlay at the end of the 13th century, Néret is still a low-density rural commune today. Agricultural activity is important there, particularly with the presence of wine estates dedicated to the production of the AOC Châteaumeillant.
This city in the center of France continues to attract visitors with its authentic landscapes, but also with the richness of its architectural heritage which testifies to the importance of the town over the centuries.
