Plan-d'Orgon

About fifteen kilometers from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is the pretty town of Plan-d'Orgon. Old district of the city of Orgon until 1923, the town got its independence in the heart of the department of Bouches-du-Rhône.

If it is not a top tourist attraction itself, the city of Plan-d'Orgon however has a certain charm. One can in particular discover the Saint-Louis church, which was once a simple rustic chapel.

Plan-d'Orgon the traditional market is held every Sunday morning.

Every year in June, the city offers its Bridge Day with a parade antique and many bullfights in the bullring.

Between July and August, Plan-d'Orgon hosts a concert as part of the International Piano Festival in La Roque-d'Anthéron.

The votive festival of Saint-Louis takes place at the end of August. The program, a dance, food, fireworks, entertainment for children or even petanque competitions.
