The Trinity Chapel is located in the hamlet of Belpuig, belonging to the municipality of Prunet-et-Belpuig in the Pyrenees-Orientales, 25 km south of Ille-sur-Tet.
The present building dates from the eleventh century for its oldest parts, which succeeded a primitive church dedicated to St. Peter (Xe).
Eleventh century remain the nave "north", with a large apse and the chapel was enlarged in the thirteenth.
Note his bedside novel of Lombard inspiration, built of rubble and stone, and the openings of the apse with arches.
The façade "is" present ornaments carved above the door, and a pierced bell wall of windows overlooking the front campanarian "west".
Inside, the two naves of unequal length, dated XI for the wider twelfth for the second, were completed a collateral to the "south". The chapel's vaulted stone.
Protected as historical monuments, it houses a Romanesque Christ of Catalan origin dated twelfth century, a Virgin and fourteenth child, a mobile baroque altar, and finally an altarpiece of the seventeenth.
At a recent restoration of the murals were uncovered.
