Municipality of nearly 9000 inhabitants, in Essonne, in the Paris region, Quincy-sous-Sénart takes place about fifteen kilometers from Evry and twenty-five kilometers from Paris and its many tourist sites. Bordering the department of Seine-et-Marne, it is located not far from Corbeil-Essonnes or Moissy-Cramayel.
Originally a simple small village, Quincy-sous-Sénart really developed during the 15th century, gradually taking on the face we know it today. Its proximity to Paris and the richness of its architectural heritage have made it a popular place in the Paris region.
It is still possible to discover today many traces of an illustrious past marked in particular by the presence of the future Louis XVIII in the city.
