Réalville is a royal bastide created by Philippe le Bel in 1310, sitting on the sides of the last hills of Quercy, at the limit of the quaternary alluvia which filled the Sea of Biscay. Straddling the main national road and the railway line that connects Toulouse to Paris, it dominates the fertile plain where the Garonne receives its tributaries. And when the sky is clear, the view extends towards Montauban to the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees.
