Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Montflaux, in Mayenne, dates from the 17th century. Imposing by its proportions, the building astonishes by its sobriety, with an architecture devoid of any ornament.
The castle has a main building with two shallow wings, two pavilions under roofs and a projecting pavilion with pointed roof and clock. Inhabited private property, it is not accessible to visitors.
