Small town of Bas-Rhin, near the German border, Seebach takes place about fifty kilometers from Strasbourg and its cathedral. It is located thirty kilometers from Baden-Baden, not far from Wissembourg, in the natural region of Outre-Forêt.
Mentioned in the tenth century, the town is attached to France in the course of the seventeenth. It experienced a boom in the nineteenth century despite significant emigration to Russia, Algeria or North America.
