Tours-sur-Marne is a commune in the Marne, in East Grand region 15 km from Epernay.
The 23 km² of its territory is crossed by the course of the Marne and the side channel and are located on the southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. The town, which rises to 192 meters above sea level is also included in the Regional Natural Park dedicated to this region known for its vineyards.
The village developed in the Middle Ages under the leadership of then Cistercian monks in the twelfth century when an oratory was founded under the Tours chapter.
Boasting an attractive living thanks to the banks of the Marne and the Canal Tours-sur-Marne which has about 1,400 inhabitants is also a famous wine village. Not less than 50 operators identified therein and one of the most prestigious trading houses of Champagne has its headquarters.

Succeeding a primitive church mentioned in the ninth century, while dedicated to St. Genest and a second dating from the thirteenth to the fifteenth and partially rebuilt in a Gothic style, the current Sainte-Madeleine church was consecrated in 1858. It s' Heritage is the main element of the village. The neo-Gothic building in particular has arched windows surmounted by oculi (small round openings), stained glass windows that evoke the Cross, a square bell tower topped by a spire overlooking the Portal. There is also the arches resting on pillars in the nave and the stained glass windows of the choir. Like the furniture dating from the late nineteenth century organ loft was completed in 1862 and is protected. Furthermore, the old church, is preserved paintings from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and a stone Christ (XVII).

In terms of leisure sports and "nature", the River Marne and the side channel are bordered by a path of interpretation, in the banks, to apprehend the ecological wealth of this environment.
