Bandstand installed Valence, in the Drôme, the Peynet kiosk was originally built in 1862 on the Champ de Mars. He was replaced in 1890 by the model made by Eugene Poitoux we know today.
In 1942, he inspired the famous designer Raymond Peynet for its lover. Passing through the city, he drew indeed the bandstand, a violinist and a spectator, work that has subsequently toured the world. It is in his honor that the kiosk Peynet was baptized in 1966.
The building, full of charm, is now the subject of a classification as historical building.
