The castle Fey is located in the municipality of Villecien in the Yonne, 25 km south of Sens.
Located atop a hill overlooking the valley of the Yonne, it was built from 1620 instead of a first century castle belonging to the lord of the manor.

Having accommodated famous guests like St. Vincent de Paul and Ninon de l'Enclos courtesan, the domain remains in the same family until 1751, then bought by Melchior Baron Chamousset. The latter arrange reception rooms decorated with wood decors. Long alleys are traced through the forest of 40 hectares surrounding the castle.
In the 1980s, the site became the property of Mark Cherniavsky and Anne Willan that make the area an extension of the school of Varenne, which trains chefs.
