The Nuits de Nacre festival is France’s biggest cultural and musical event dedicated to the accordion. This festival is constantly evolving, and has become an important cultural event. It is attracting more and more spectators and artists, and requires a permanent professional team.
For 4 days, the accordion is everywhere in the town, in the streets, on the terraces, cafes and public squares, under the marquees, in the concert halls, at the theatre... Les Nuits de Nacre offers around 90 concerts and activities, most of which are free. The repertoires and musical genres are as varied as the instrument allows: musette or gipsy jazz, rock, contemporary music, world music, songs...
