Antraïgues and Crau volcano

Depart from the town of Vallées-d'Antraigues-Asperjoc, latitude 44.7174700 (N 44° 43’ 3”), longitude 4.3579800 (E 4° 21’ 29”)

• Departure from the village square

• From the village square, take the direction of the bell tower, then take the alley that descends to the left, in front of the space Jean Saussac.

• Descent of the Calades of Antraïgues

• Follow the calade that descends from the lace-up village to the Gamond Bridge on the Bise.
• Calades are the stone paths built centuries ago.
• Attention, it slips when it rains.

• After the Gamond Bridge, take a left and take the right path

• After passing over the Gamond Bridge, take a left (paved path).
• Then take the path that goes up to the right above a stone wall, on the flanks of the Volcano of Crau.
• Follow this trail to the Genestelle Pass

• At the Col de Genestelle, follow the road towards Antraïgues

• From the Col de Genestelle, take the road towards Antraïgues (the Red).
• This little road leads to the Castle of Craux through a chestnut grove.

• After the hamlet 'Le Rouge'; take the road to the right, then the path to the left

• Just past the hamlet "Le Rouge", take the road that goes down to the right (pin).
• Then immediately take left the path that descends to a few houses.
• Don't forget to replace the wires after your visit.

• At the stone house, take the path to the right

• When you arrive near the hamlet (stone houses at the edge of the path), take on the right the path that descends towards Antraïgues.

• Follow the road to the Gamond Bridge

• The trail joins a small road, which must be followed down to the Gamond Bridge

• After the bridge, take a right and immediately the calade that goes back to the village

• After the Gamond Bridge, take the road to the right, then after a few meters resume the stone slea that leads to the top of the village.
• The slope is a bit steep, but the finish line is very close!
