1. At the village of Beaumont, take the road that goes up along the cemetery. Then take the forest track on your right.
2. Follow the track through the pines and chestnut trees until you reach the first viewpoint: the Col de la Resquillette. In clear weather, you will see Mont Ventoux and the snow-capped peaks of the Alps.
3. Continue on the track, there is a tarmacked section, up to the Col des Cayras. Pass next to the artificial water table, at the junction follow the DFCI in the direction of Valgorge/Dompnac/St Mélany. Beautiful view over the Bolze valley to the east, the Tanargue ridges to the north and the Beaume valley to the west.
4. Pass the wooden water cistern, turn right onto the tarmac road. On your left, you have the signpost for the "Col des Cayras". Take the small path on your right which descends, marked in yellow and white by the "Vie et Tourisme" association.
5. Descend through the holm oaks and chestnut trees to the signpost "l'Ouste".
6. Facing the sign, follow the direction Beaumont on the left, at the hamlet of Fraysse continue the path keeping to the right, you must not go down again, follow the yellow and white signs for Vie et Tourisme.
7. Cross the road and follow the marked path of "Vie et Tourisme" just opposite.
8. Continue the path, pass the Brousson and Borie stream where you can admire pretty gours dug by water.
9. Follow the path to get back on the road.
10. Take the road to the right and reach the village of Beaumont.
