Make your way to the foot of the 7 Locks Historic Monument on Rue Hugues Cosnier.
The starting point is at the 7 Locks Historic Monument. Climb up the 25 metres of altitude difference along the locks and then take the small bridge to the summit. At the very end of the Monument, take the path that leads to the forest-covered massif. You are on the GRP circuit. Pass through the forest to the other side (less than 3 km).
On the way out of the forest, leave the stone bridge on the left and follow the GRP signposting. Walk around Rondeau Lake passing near the silo and return along the towpath (about 2 km).
