Access

From Frauenberg, it is possible to enjoy a 25 km (one-way) bicycle ride along a cycle path which used to be the railway line between Sarreguemines and Blieskastel in Germany. The path is almost completely flat and follows a small river, the Blies, where it is also possible to fish.

Itinerary

From Frauenberg, follow signs to Blies-Ébersing. On the way out of the village on your right, climb a 200-metre slope to access the cycle path. The first stage will be in Bliesbruck, where you will be able to visit the Roman archaeological site. Then, cross the border and, along the German cycle path, you will find several Saarland villages where you will be able to dine. The final stage before returning home could be Blieskastel, a small town with a market and a pedestrianised area Return via the same route.
