From the Hauts d'Albas

Departure at the crossroads of Garrigou with the D37.

At the crossroads of Garrigou with the D37, take the road behind the house to the model airplane in its garden, and continue by a footpath to the beacon of the PR (yellow marking). Turn left until the RD37, go to the Souleillat crossroads. 100 m to Albas on the RD37, turn left at the beginning of the road towards the "oaks", continue along the ridge up to the Croix Girard (highest point).

Repeat on the right at the cross the PR route marked yellow towards the orientation table (picnic area with tables). Follow the beacons of PR to the village of Albas, descend to the river by the village, along the river keeping the same bank, follow the PR markers to the hamlet of Rivière Haute.

Cross the road D8 at the height of the Chateau Eugénie and go up following the yellow PR tags by the forest of box trees until the source of the Payrols (a little on the left, but to retrace your steps to continue towards the Souleillat). Steep climb up to Souleillat (hamlet of beautiful houses Quercynoises). Follow the PR tags to leave the hamlet until you find the first sign of your walk. There, turn left following the footpath to the crossroads of Garrigou and RD37 (house with model aircraft).
