The inhabitants of the Pays d'Auzelles, Livradois and even from elsewhere, will always remember Henriette from La Gravière who died in 1985. For more than sixty years, twenty of which she was on her own, Henriette Gidon ran the café. She was also known as "brave mother".

By car, stop at Hirodie car park 2 km from Bourg d'Auzelles or the Henriette restaurant in La Gravière 4 km from Cunlhat.
D ==> Cross the D112 and walk down between the Hirodie houses. Take the grassy path along a stream. Cross a footbridge over the Miodet. Walk up the forest path to interpretation table No.1 and the tarmac path.
1 ==> Pass through the forest to table No.2. Continue on the right to a magnificent viewpoint over the Dômes Mountains where you will find table No.3. 150 m further on, you will arrive at Guesle.
2 ==> Turn left on the D112 and continue for about 600 m and turn right into the forest. Table No.4 awaits you there. At the crossroads, turn left down between the walls to the hamlet of Jaladis, where you can stop off at table No.5.
3 ==> Walk to the way of the cross and pass a ruined house and continue for 450 m to the site of the former Ganille silk factory and its table No.6. Cross the footbridge over the Miodet.
4 ==> Follow the road on the left for 50 m and turn right on to a path that climbs up to the edge of the forest. Cross the road and continue along the path opposite. When you arrive at the D112, turn left along it for 300 m to Vindiol.
5 ==> On the way out of the hamlet, turn right between the buildings before the last house and walk down into the valley along a path on the left. On the way back up, it passes behind a lake and arrives at the D105 that you should follow for 300 m to La Gravière.
6 ==> (2nd possible route) Follow the D996 for 250 m and take the first path on the left after a Douglas fir plantation. Continue straight ahead past the reservoir and continue to the hamlet of Vindiolet.
7 ==> Leave the hamlet along the path on the left. 150 m after the last house, turn right along a wood to table No. 7. Continue along the path on the right and descend for 800 m until you reach the hamlet of Hirodie.
