Departure: Bise chalets - Pass in front of the hut, turn right to reach the Pas de la Bosse (1816m). At the Pas de la Bosse, take the elevated path to the ridge and the chalets of Mens. From there, slant to the right to find the path that leads to the Ubine pass (1694m). Take the path that goes down to the alpine pasture of Ubine and its hamlet. Follow the paved road for a few meters before embarking on a path to the right that gradually rises through the pasture and up to the Maupas forest. You reach, on your way down, the marsh of the Lickère, then the lake of Fontaine. Join the trail to the left of the lake. This trail crosses the road 3 times before reaching your starting point.
