Take the D911 towards Villefranche-de-Rouergue. The starting point is outside the Maison des Associations (large white building). Yellow, then red and white signposting.
1. Follow the main street towards Villefranche-de-Rouergue to the junction with the D19. Follow this road for 50 m and turn right up to a small road which passes behind the school on the left. Continue straight ahead along a stone path. At a fork in the road, turn right and make your way to a small road. Follow a path opposite until you arrive at the D143. Follow this road on the right for 500 m and turn left on to a path lined with stone walls. This leads to the D19.
2. Turn right and follow the departmental road for 500 m. At the Agranel road, take the path on the right. Further on, leave a path on the right and make your way to the hamlet of Mas de Charrou (a very beautiful farm with a dovecote- lantern tower).
3. Turn right and pass a small dovecote and walk 50 m on the right down to Buzou Fountain. Return to the road and continue for 500 m to Mas de Dalat (small 2-level stone hut, on the left, at the entrance to the hamlet).
4. At the crossroads marked with a stone cross, turn left and pass a stone drinking trough. Leave the GR on the left. Make your way to Mas de Caumet, and veer right. Continue straight ahead to a small road (D 143).
5. Turn left on to it and follow it for 100 m and take a path on the right. Continue along this path and, just after a bend on the right, you will see an old windmill. 100 m further on, on the right, the view opens out over the Causses. Take the first path on the right and then ignore two paths on the left and make your way to a fork in the path and take the path on the left. Cross a tarmac road and take a path opposite and admire the Malecargue Fountain. Follow the path on the right after the fountain. Ignore a first path on the right and cross a second one..
6. Follow the GR65 (shepherd's hut on the right) until you arrive at a crossroads.
7. Continue along the main path and leave the GR. Then, continue straight ahead to a road. At the first fork, continue slightly on the right (stone hut) and join the road you started out on to return to the car park.
