Depart from the centre of the village of La Bâtie-Vieille, an old mountain village. During the walk, you will see the hamlet of Les Guérins, with its farmers, crops and livestock, as well as views of the Avançon Valley. You will pass through the Hermitage forest, hiking along a winding path in the shade of the trees.The path then runs along the Angel’s Ravine (Ravin de l’Ange), before passing through the conifer forest with a view of the Avance Valley. Once you arrive at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Laus, a place of pilgrimage, you will have a view over the valley.
