Very famous tourist site in Guadeloupe. A cross, which has been placed on a mound, dominates the surroundings and faces the sea on this steep coastline. A very attractive walk along the sea and the chance to discover the plant and animal life, the landscapes and coves. Very near the beaches, in particular Salines Beach, you can finish your walk with a good swim - do not forget your snorkelling gear so that you can look at the fish!

From Saint-François, make your way towards Pointe des Châteaux, the road winds around the golf course and then follows the sea for 11 km. Start of the walk: Pointe des Châteaux car park.
Once you have arrived at the Pointe des Châteaux car park, walk along the path which follows the beach and leads to a staircase up to the summit.
At the top, after admiring the views, take a path on the left which follows the coast and provides access to the white sand coves. Return to the car park.
