The round of brown ponds

Depart from the town of Brénod, latitude 46.0608100 (N 46° 3’ 39”), longitude 5.6064900 (E 5° 36’ 23”)

• Brénod

• Turn your back to the church, take the rue de la Côte, cross the bypass road of the village and continue by road to chalet F.S.G.T.

• Field of Joux

• Opposite the chalet, head to the right (north), then continue along the gravel road to the right. Before the hamlet of La Gouille, take the path on the left for 400m.

• Perugia and the brown ponds

• Fork on the path to the right in the forest and reach Perugia. Without taking into account the blue sign 312, cut the road and continue along the paved road opposite. After the houses, it becomes dirt road. Cross the D31 and continue along the small road towards the Granges-Neuves. It runs along the Maron ponds and leads to a junction.

• Combe de Férirand

• At the junction, continue on the road for 1 km.

• The barns

• Take the forest track (blue post) on the right (south) for 2.5 km. She crosses the forest.

• Forest of Pré Goyet

• Continue along the track that runs along the Marron ponds.

• Montoux

• 50 m before the D21, take the path on the left then, 50 m further, again on the left, the path that runs between hazel trees on 800 m. Climb the D31 for 10 m, then take a right onto the tarmac road and reach La Scie. Go straight on the farm, cross the bridge, and continue on the road for 200 m.

• The Axle

• Go right, pass the bridge of the Gauls then take the path on the left. Take the road on the right to reach the village.
