In Mont-les-Seurre, you can see the church of St. Martin, remarkable with its wooden walls. The commune is located between the Saône and the Doubs and it suffers the floods of these two rivers. In the hamlet of Chazelle, horses and cattle graze peacefully in the meadows in the summer. On the banks of the Saône, you will take the towpath that was once used to pull the barges (boat) on the Saône. This part of the trail is remarkable for its fauna, flora and meanderings of the Saône, a true postcard landscape. You will arrive in Charnay-les-Chalon. Its church of St. Gregory the Great is easily recognizable with its French-made bell tower with glazed tiles. You can also admire two ordeals.
