The first sign is outside the church.
The footpath is signposted along its entire length.
Make your way to the village of Saint-Remy (70160) and park at the church car park. You will find the first sign there, as well as a map of the walk and the location of the different information boards. Footprints indicate the path to follow to get to the first sign and pass through the village. Once out of the village, make your way along a white path towards the forest.
Once you have arrived in the forest, follow the yellow signposting that will lead you to the different information boards.
At sign No. 4, take the small path downhill. At the end of this narrow path, turn right and take the grassy path. Follow the path to the pond (sign No. 5) and continue straight ahead. The path then climbs up on the left. After sign No. 6, continue straight ahead and then turn left to reach the end of the path, along a small tarmac road. You will find a picnic table here. Then take the first path down on the right, which leads to sign No. 7. The path has not been finished here so you have to climb up along a path on the left after the sign. Once you have reached the tarmac road, turn right.
After sign No. 8, it is possible to follow an alternative route on the left which is also signposted.
The main path continues straight ahead. Then take the path on the right. After sign No. 9, make your way to the viewpoint which is signposted on your right. The route heads back into the forest and continues straight ahead to sign No. 10. Then, turn right and, after a few metres, turn left and then left again. The path is sloping and you will have to cross a road. The path continues straight ahead opposite and leads to sign No. 11. Walk down this path and then take the path that climbs up on the left. Follow the itinerary along the main path that will lead you to the first two signs and then to the road back to Saint-Rémy. Once you have arrived in the village, remember to stop at the panoramic viewpoint which offers a clear view over the Superbe Valley.
Return to the car park outside the church.
