The walk offers the chance to visit Bléneau, a 1-flower nature resort with water gardens (tree prize in 1999, 4th regional environmental prize in 2004, special gardener's prize in 2005), with many different species of trees and plants, which offer a great site for resting and walking. The circuit also offers the opportunity to visit Saint Loup church dating from the end of the 12th century, the 12th century castle (not open to visitors) and the chestnut fountain (listed).

Access

Starting point: Bléneau Tourist Office (guided tour of Bléneau, every Wednesday in July and August on request, in the low season).

Itinerary

Circuit around the town of Bléneau and its main sites: 19th century Chestnut fountain, 19th century wash houses, Saint Loup de Troyes de Bléneau church with its 15th century fresco, 12th century castle (not open to visitors). Continue to the water gardens which cover an area of 4 hectares, with 1.26 hectares of ponds, many remarkable trees, (starting point for many walks) and Pont de la Liberté bridge built in 1791 with the fortifications of the town of Bléneau. Site of the old Gaston Fleischel factory (commemorative plaque).
