Inaugurated in 1992 on the site of the former Citroën factory in Paris' 15th arrondissement, not far from the Balard Metro station, this superb park by the Seine is one of the newest in the city. Created by such famous landscape gardeners and architects as Gilles Clément, Allain Provost, Patrick Berger, Jean-François Jodry and Jean-Paul Viguier, this vast expanse of 14 hectares, with themed gardens, a large central park and two monumental greenhouses filled with plants, is ideal for strolling, picnics and resting. What's more, it also offers many opportunities for relaxation and fun, such as water jets, ping-pong tables and children's play areas.
Don't miss the chance to take a little trip in the big tethered helium balloon at the centre of André Citroën Park. It goes up to a height of 150 metres and offers some of the most beautiful aerial views of Paris!
