Located in Écuillé, the Château du Plessis-Bourré is a magnificent 15th-century building surrounded by filled moats. But with its architectural details announcing the Renaissance period and its richly decorated rooms, the Château du Plessis-Bourré is also a country estate. Inside, the magnificent wooden ceiling of the Guards' Room, painted with characters and animals, is stunning.
