Leclaous Farm

This perfectly-situated apartment in the heart of the countryside and beside a nature reserve is an oasis of calm, with an orchard, chickens and freshly-grown organic vegetables. The natural pool is a real gem and the hosts warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful rest, but also for close proximity to seaside towns such as Hossegor and Biarritz.

We rented a roomy apartment in a newer, 'farm' house, set in a beautiful area between Orx and Labenne. Although it is not far from the lively tourist centre of Labenne-Ocean (sea and beach), this location is extremely quiet, with the only sounds the birds and clucking hens. There's a lovely all-natural swimming pool (no bleach), colorful and luscious gardens as well as orchards. The apartments have a terrace, contain all amenities, and overlook the farmgrounds. One of the best features are the hosts, Momo and Fatima, who genuinely help their guests have a marvellous time. They have plenty of advice on where to go, what to see, and will accompany you to find the beach, the supermarkets, the best bakeries, and other special places. Interested in improving your French?
