Opened in 2009, the Angers Engineering Museum is a museum entirely devoted to military engineering. It reveals, through its collections, the evolution of its techniques and the history of its main characters.
In total, visitors will be able to discover more than 1,000 historical pieces in an area of 1,000 m². From the creation of cities to the defense of borders, the Musée du Génie notably presents the know-how of soldiers and engineers throughout the history of France. Maps, engravings, paintings, uniforms, models or films and interactive screens inform visitors as they discover them.
