Town of Mosel in East Grand region Boulay-Moselle takes place about thirty kilometers from Metz, in the heart of the country Nied, Lorraine. It is located not far from Téterchen, Roupeldange and Helston.
Ancient medieval walled city, Boulay-Moselle reported to the duchy of Lorraine until its annexation by France in the mid eighteenth century. Long turned to the production of beer with its many breweries, common in eastern France suffered heavy damage during the bombings of World War II. Today almost completely rebuilt, it nevertheless retains many old buildings that testify to its rich history and bring all its charm and strength to the city. Epicureans will appreciate its macaroons, a local specialty that made it famous.
