Located on the site of the Hotel Dieu, founded in the Middle Ages by the will of the Queen of France Joan of Navarre, the Museum of the Treasure of the Hotel-Dieu de Chateau-Thierry welcomes you to a journey through time to the discovery of its rich and varied collections: paintings, sculptures, tapestries, prints, ceramics, metalwork, embroidery, furniture civilians, ethnological ... A Treasure is hidden in the maze of halls of Chateau-Thierry!
Over 1300 pieces are on display throughout the 18 rooms refurbished in the spirit of the 17th century. Be guided in these 1500 square feet of museum spaces.
Of the apothecary in the kitchen, through the sewing room, you can marvel at these beautiful works of art, admire the subtlety and beauty, and you simply dazzled by the "Treasury".
